A development consultant with over twelve years’ worth of consulting experience.

He is a Development Consultant with over twelve (12) years’ worth of consulting experience. He is currently a Programmes Associate with Centre for Community Evidence-based Options (CCEPO). He holds a Master’s Degree in Gender Studies from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences of Makerere University. Over the years, he has worked in spheres of social sector and program development and reviews; development planning, surveys, strategic planning and specialized socio-economic research that has included conducting baseline, mid-term and end-line studies for multinational and international development institutions.

He has solid awareness of gender relations and its changing patterns and applying it for gender mainstreaming across various sectors. He has supported many organisations to develop gender policies, strategies and action plans and also facilitated numerous training workshops and dialogues providing expert advice on gender and structural drivers of discrimination, sexual reproductive health and rights, HIV/AIDS, agriculture, and nutrition interventions.

He has supervised a number of projects, for small CSOs to complex donor funded projects/ programmes. Over the years, he has delivered on projects for a number of clients for instance: Uganda AIDS Commission (UAC); United Nations Development Programme (UNDP); Makerere University, Uganda Electoral Commission; The Swedish International Cooperation Agency (SIDA) United States Agency for International Development (USAID) among others.
